Celebrate America’s 250th birthday through a one-of-a-kind community work of art at the Colonial Williamsburg Regional Visitor Center. Following its grand reveal in Merchants Square, the Great American Birthday Quilt will be on display throughout 2026 at the Colonial Williamsburg Regional Visitor Center. 🇺🇸🧵Created by Visit Williamsburg in partnership with the Muscarelle Museum of Art, this meaningful quilt brings together squares submitted by people across the country—each one helping tell a shared American story in celebration of the nation’s 250th birthday. Come experience this remarkable tribute up close and discover the stories stitched into every square.
