Yorktown Market Days continues this fall featuring seasonal fruits and vegetables; fresh seafood, eggs, poultry, beef and pork; fresh breads, baked goods, quality art, and entertainment. Market operates weekly on Saturdays 8 am to 12 pm with extended hours Sept. 8, Oct. 13, Nov. 10 & 17, and Dec. 8 (No market on Oct 6).
Yorktown Market Days is always rain or shine. When it rains, the vendors and artists move into the lower level of the parking terrace. The extra activities, however, may be canceled due to inclement weather, and will not be rescheduled. Visitors are encouraged to follow Visit Yorktown’s social media accounts for all event-related changes and announcements.
There is no charge for the market and it is held rain or shine. Free parking is available in several designated areas throughout Historic Yorktown. The Trolley, also free, runs daily in the summer from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. While most vendors accept credit cards, some only take cash. ATMs are conveniently located at Ben & Jerry’s and Yorktown Pub.
Water Street Grille continues with live music on Fridays and Saturday’s beginning at 7 p.m.
Whether you’re a hiker, biker, walker, kayaker, boater or beach lover, Yorktown is an outdoor recreation destination.
