Dinosaur Eggs and Babies Exhibit is extended at the Virginia Living Museum
Exhibit, Tiny Titans, at the Virginia Living Museum is extended through the summer for a “no touch” experience for your safety! Bring the family to learn about how dinosaurs raised their tiny titans! To find out all the the sections of the museum that are open here is their up to date status page.
This remarkable “no touch” exhibit offers an astounding array of authentic dinosaur eggs and nests collected from all over the globe – including those of each of the major plant and meat-eating dinosaur groups.
Cute babies and fun Dino facts will keep everyone entertained on your next trip to the museum.
This exhibit also features the companion program A Family of Titans. What makes a family? Some dinosaurs lived in family groups, and others lived by themselves.
Tiny Titans was developed by Charlie and Florence Magovern of The Stone Company, Boulder, Colorado in association with the Harvard Museum of Natural History. The Magoverns gained national recognition when their work was featured as the cover story in the May 1996 issue of National Geographic Magazine. Tiny Titans is now promoted by Silver Plume Exhibitions, an exhibit design and management company founded by Charlie and Florence’s daughter, Alanna and her husband, Nicholas Regester.
