Explore William & Mary’s Revolutionary History on a Free Guided Tour
The community is invited to discover how the revolution transformed William & Mary, from changes in its academic programs to its role in key events leading to American independence. Revolutionary Transformations tours explore the people, places, and stories that connect the college to the revolution and raise questions about freedom, education, and life in a new republic.
Led by William & Mary undergraduate students, these tours are part of a course-based research and public engagement project directed by Dr. Robyn Schroeder in commemoration of the 250th anniversary of American independence.
Tours stops at 9 locations on campus including the Wren Building and other historic spots.
Tours are free and open to the public, you must signup for a tour as spots are limited. Tours run Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday through December 6. Signup here!
