Bacon Street Annual Backpack Drive

Bacon Street Youth and Family Services Annual Backpack Drive is on Saturday, August 12th, 10 am-2 pm (or until backpacks are gone).

If you or someone you know is in need of a backpack, pickup at one of the two locations on August 12:

  • 247 McLaws Circle, Williamsburg, 23185
  • 749-A Thimble Shoals Blvd., Newport News, 23606

Donations accepted through Friday, August 11 at Bacon Street 247 McLaws Circle from 10am-5pm. In addition, the following businesses have set up donation boxes for drop off:

  • Aromas
  • Chesapeake Bank
  • Frothy Moon
  • Results Performance Training
  • The Smile Group
  • Two Drummers Smokehouse
  • Two Drummers Butcher & BBQ Provisions
  • Williamsburg Jewelers
  • Scotland Street Salon
