Guests are invited to join the staff of the John D. Rockefeller Jr. Library for an engaging look at the history behind Colonial Williamsburg’s cherished holiday traditions. The program explores the origins of celebrations such as Grand Illumination, the Yule Log Ceremony, the Groaning Board, Public Times, festive decorations, and other beloved customs. Together, participants will celebrate Williamsburg’s rich history and the people who helped bring these timeless traditions to life. This event is open to the public and no event ticket is required.
