To celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the United States Army, the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown has a variety of programs and musical performances planned.

| 11 a.m. | Artillery Amphitheater (Indoors if raining) | Patriotic Music “The Governor’s Own” 29th Infantry Division Band of the Virginia Army National Guard performs patriotic music for the 250th anniversary of the establishment of the Army. |
| Noon | Continental Army Encampment | Drill! Fall in line as a Continental soldier and practice drilling with a flintlock musket. |
| 1 p.m. | Museum Classrooms – D&E | “More Dead Than Alive”: Prisoners of War During the American Revolution The presentation explores prisoner of war experiences during the American Revolution including confinement, prisoner exchanges and parole from various perspectives. (Mature themes. May not be appropriate for all audiences.) |
| 2 p.m. | Artillery Amphitheater (Indoors if raining) | Patriotic Music “The Governor’s Own” 29th Infantry Division Band of the Virginia Army National Guard performs patriotic music for the 250th anniversary of the establishment of the Army. (Weather permitting) |
| 3 p.m. | Artillery Amphitheater | Artillery Be part of an 18th-century artillery crew and get your first lesson in the loading of a cannon. Then, cover your ears as the Continental Army crew loads and fires the weapon. (Weather permitting) |
The American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and located at 200 Water Street (Route 1020) in Yorktown, is administered by the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, an educational agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia accredited by the American Alliance of Museums and a commemorative partner of the Virginia American Revolution 250 Commission.
Admission is $20 for adults and $10 for ages 6-12. Children ages 5 and under are admitted free. Residents of James City County, York County and the City of Williamsburg, including William & Mary students, receive free admission with proof of residency. Parking is free.
