Celebrate Pawkémon Day 2026 at the Virginia Living Museum with a day full of adventure, discovery, and hands-on fun inspired by the world of Pokémon.

Explore the Museum as you take part in eight themed activity stations, collect VLM Pokémon-style trading cards, and meet ambassador animals during themed animal encounters. Throughout the day, Pokémon GO Lures will be active across the grounds, making this a can’t-miss event for Trainers of all ages.

Event Highlights

• Eight interactive activity stations – Complete each station to earn a stamp. Collect all eight stamps to receive a special prize.
• VLM collectible trading cards – Add exclusive Museum-themed cards to your collection during the event.
• Pokémon-inspired animal encounters – Learn about real animals through the lens of Pokémon, with fun facts and live talks and encounters.
• Pokémon GO Lures activated – Trainers can enjoy increased Pokémon activity throughout the Museum.
• Pokémon & animal comparison signage – Discover similarities and differences between Pokémon and their real-life animal counterparts at select exhibits.

Dressing up as your favorite Pokémon Trainer or character is highly encouraged, so grab your gear and get ready to explore.
