Radical Softness: A Talk by Janet Echelman

Janet Echelman creates sculptures on the scale of buildings and city blocks, transforming public spaces around the world. Her works—displayed across five continents—move gracefully with the wind, inspiring reflection and wonder. Blending ancient craft with cutting-edge technology, Echelman has pioneered a truly distinctive art form. In this talk, she shares insights into her creative process and her philosophy of “Taking Imagination Seriously,” the theme of her widely viewed TED Talk, translated into 35 languages and watched by over two million people.
