Dye Day at the Weaver

Head to the Weaver as they recreate natural dyes and dye recipes of the 18th century to achieve a spectrum of dazzling colors. They experiment with colors every time the fires are lit, so each recipe is different. Fabrics, yarns, and fibers will change before your eyes. You might see the wool of Colonial Williamsburg’s own Leicester Longwool sheep taking on new hues. Colonial Williamsburg admission is required. For more information, see here.
