Free Nature Activity for Curious Kids (ages 5+)
Go to the garden patio for a reading of Where Does the Butterfly Go When It Rains? by May Garelick. Then take a guided garden walk to search for butterflies and moths and learn about the plants that support them with Pat Murphy, Garden Board Member, Virginia Cooperative Extension Master Naturalist and Educator.
No registration needed.
Please remember:
- Apply sunscreen and bug spray, bring drinking water, and wear closed toe shoes.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- No program if raining.
