Yorktown is heading back to the ice for a night of hometown pride and high-energy fun. On Saturday, February 21, 2026, the Norfolk Admirals will suit up as the Yorktown Admirals at Scope Arena, bringing the spirit and history of Yorktown to the rink for the second year in a row. The special game will feature a full Yorktown rebrand, including themed uniforms and in-arena elements celebrating the community.
After the game, fans are invited to lace up and skate on the ice themselves. This free post-game skate includes complimentary skate rentals, or guests may bring their own. Registration details will be announced soon.
The evening will also include special performances by the York County Department of Fire and Life Safety Honor Guard, the York Poquoson Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard, the Fifes & Drums of York Town, choral students from York County School Division, and appearances by Salty, the Norfolk Admirals’ mascot.
Guests will also have the opportunity to create a square for Visit Williamsburg’s Great American Birthday Quilt, marking the final chance to take part in this patriotic community project before the quilt is assembled and displayed at the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center.
