
Family Frights at Jamestown Settlement
“Family Frights,” a Halloween-theme museum night for the entire family, returns to Jamestown Settlement on Friday and Saturday, October 25 and 26. Trick-or-treating, ghostly tales and grisly games will be among the festivities available from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on both dates. Rain date of Sunday, October 27.

This has become an annual “must do” event in Williamsburg so if you are planning on going it would not be a bad idea to get your tickets in advance online. You can get them at the museum and the day of the event provided they are not sold out.
“Family Frights,” a Halloween-theme museum night for elementary-school-age children and families, at Jamestown Settlement. This year’s themes, include classic movie monsters, classic princess tales, candy land, the circus, and much more!

Yes there will be Trick-or-treating, ghostly tales and grisly games from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on both dates.
Smoke, lanterns and sound effects create a spooky setting in Jamestown Settlement’s re-created early 1600s fort. Along with even more trick-or-treating at buildings in this living-history area, families can explore friendly and frightful haunted houses centered around this year’s theme.

Toward the 1607 ships’ pier, visitors climb aboard a haunted Susan Constant, Godspeed and Discovery, each with its own spooky theme, for trick-or-treating.
Visitors will experience ghost stories, face painting and fortune-telling. Children can make creepy crafts and compete in games like pumpkin bowling and hula-hoop and beanbag toss.

What is the fee?
Admission is $7 per child, ages 4-12, and $3 per adult. Children ages 3 and under are free. Each party must include at least one adult over age 18. Tickets can be purchased in advance online or at Jamestown Settlement. Tickets also will be available at the door. Annual passes and other discounts do not apply. Rain date of Sunday, October 27.
