JCC REC Connect will offer full-day child care for grades K-5

James City County Parks & Recreation’s announced on Friday, August 7, they will offer full-day child care programs for grades K-5 from Sept. 8-Nov. 6, 2020. Childcare will be offered Mon.-Fri., 7 a.m.-6 p.m. This decision comes after WJCC Schools’ decision to offer remote learning for the first nine weeks of the 2020-21 school year.

Daily programming will include arts & crafts, gym/physical activity, games, outdoor play, healthy snack-making and virtual learning time. Participants will follow social distancing guidelines and wear masks while indoors.

Programs will be held at Laurel Lane, Matoaka and Norge Elementary Schools.

Tuition is $110/week for full-time participants (four or five days) and $90/week for part-time students (three days or fewer). Space is limited and REC Connect registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
