William & Mary Collegiate Pass for Colonial Williamsburg
All William & Mary students are eligible for a Collegiate Pass for Colonial Williamsburg.
What is a William & Mary Collegiate Pass?
A William & Mary Collegiate Pass for Colonial Williamsburg is a physical pass that W&M students can use to gain free admissions to Colonial Williamsburg’s historic area, including unlimited access to its museums, taverns, and tradespeople. It is valid until the fall AFTER your senior year, so there’s no need to renew it once you’ve gotten it. The Collegiate Pass is NOT the same as the Good Neighbor Pass.

How to get a Collegiate Pass?
The Collegiate Pass cannot be obtained online. Students must go to one of the ticketing offices in CW:
- The Lumber House Ticket Office, located across from the Palace Green at 122 W Duke of Gloucester St. It is open from 9:30 am to 5 pm.
- The Art Museums of CW on Nassau St., open from 10 a.m to 5 p.m.
- The Visitor Center, located at 101-A Visitor Center Dr. near the Woodlands Hotel. It is open from 9:30 am to 5 pm.
To actually obtain their pass at the ticketing office, students must bring their W&M student ID, know their school email address (@wm.edu), and know their CSU # (do NOT use your PO Box #), which can be found at the bottom of the housing portal homepage on the right. Off-campus students may be able to use their off-campus address, though it’s easiest to use their CSU #.
If you have any questions, concerns, or need assistance with picking up your pass, students can visit the W&M Strategic Cultural Partnerships page on the Collegiate Pass. They can also email SCP at scp@wm.edu or visit them at the Travis House, located at 345 Francis St. W (across from the Art Museums and Precarious Beer Project).
