This may be a Winter Market but as we see warmer weather coming in, the vendors are thinking about spring! Explore an array of locally grown, produced, and handcrafted treasures. From baked goods, candles, beautiful wreaths, artwork, home goods, and beyond, there’s something for everyone. Local farms will also be there with fresh eggs and meats, and food trucks will be ready to serve up delicious bites. You never know what you’ll find at Yorktown Market Days–so don’t miss out!
Valentine’s Day Market – February 14

Love is in the (chilly) air! Cozy up with your sweetheart—or treat yourself—at Yorktown Market Days’ Valentine’s Day Winter Market. Shop locally grown, crafted, and curated goods, including fresh flowers, decadent desserts, handmade art, and sweet surprises perfect for Valentine’s Day.
There will be stations where you can create a Valentine’s Day surprise at the kids’ craft station, decorate the LOVE letters, snap a photo with your pup at the Canine Kissing Booth, and enter the “Guess the Number of Candy Hearts” competition for a chance to win a vendor prize. With spring just around the corner, Yorktown Market Days will be getting ready to wrap up the final Winter Market of the season. For more information, see here.
Learn more about vendors and such at this week’s market here. The free, heated Yorktown Trolley will be running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
We know the weather is unpredictable year-round, so in the case of inclement weather, just as during the regular season, the market will move to the lower level of the Water Street Parking Terrace.
Can’t make it to the Winter Markets? The regular 2026 season begins April 11 and is held every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. with special extended themed markets held throughout the year. Click over to the Yorktown Market Days website for more info.
Yorktown Themed Markets
Beginning with the April 11 event, Yorktown Market Days will run Saturdays through September 26–rain or shine–with the exception of May 2, June 13, and July 4. Once the weekly season ends, there are additional extended markets and festivals that include special seafood vendors, Thanksgiving foods, visits from Santa, and many holiday shopping opportunities!

Once the regular weekly season ends, there will be additional extended markets that include special seafood vendors, Thanksgiving foods, visits from Santa and plenty of unique shopping opportunities!
Free parking is available at the Riverwalk Landing Parking Terrace, York Hall, York-Poquoson Courthouse, County Administration Building, and other designated public parking lots. The complimentary, wheelchair accessible Yorktown Trolley will be available for all scheduled markets, including the Winter Markets, with several convenient stops throughout town. On Winter Market days, the Trolley will operate from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Yorktown Market Accept SNAP!
Yorktown Market Days is excited to participate in the USDA’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) to help ensure all families in our community have access to fresh fruits, vegetables, and other healthy food options. Qualifying participants will be able to purchase special tokens with their SNAP-EBT cards they can then use at participating vendors. In addition to SNAP-EBT cards, many vendors accept credit cards. However, some only take cash. ATMs are conveniently located at Ben & Jerry’s and Yorktown Pub.
