Yorktown Market Days – St. Patrick’s Day Winter Market

The Yorktown Market Days’ final Winter Market on Saturday, March 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Riverwalk Landing. This one has a treasure hunt for kids, the Fife and Drums of York Town and so many goodies that will be up for grabs like baked goods, prepared soups, gourmet chocolates, homemade candles, dog treats, local art and more!

Warm up with a hot cup of coffee or bowl of soup while you shop for un-brr-lievable locally grown, produced, and crafted products like baked goods; homemade candles and soaps; gourmet chocolates; scarves and mittens; flowers; spices; handmade artwork; and more. Local farms will sell eggs, meats, and seasonal produce. Food trucks will also be stationed to serve patrons throughout the markets.

*The free, heated Yorktown Trolley will be running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

We know the weather is unpredictable year-round, so in the case of inclement weather, just as during the regular season, the market will move to the lower level of the Water Street Parking Terrace.

The winter markets will be held February 10 (Valentine’s Day Market), February 24, March 2, and March 16 (St. Patrick’s Day Market) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Can’t make it to the Winter Markets?  The regular 2024 season begins April 13 and is held every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. with special extended themed markets held throughout the year.  Click over to the Yorktown Market Days website for more info.

Yorktown Market Days Season Kickoff!

2024 Yorktown Themed Markets

Beginning with the April 13 event, Yorktown Market Days will run Saturdays through the end of October—rain or shine—with the exceptions of May 4 and October 5. Once the weekly season ends, there are additional extended markets and festivals that include special seafood vendors, Thanksgiving foods, visits from Santa, and many holiday shopping opportunities!

December 14: Mistletoe Market (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.)

Once the regular weekly season ends, there will be additional extended markets that include special seafood vendors, Thanksgiving foods, visits from Santa and plenty of unique shopping opportunities!

 Free parking is available at the Riverwalk Landing Parking Terrace, York Hall, York-Poquoson Courthouse, County Administration Building, and other designated public parking lots. The complimentary, wheelchair accessible Yorktown Trolley will be available for all scheduled markets, including the Winter Markets, with several convenient stops throughout town. On Winter Market days, the Trolley will operate from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

We Accept SNAP!

Yorktown Market Days is excited to participate in the USDA’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) to help ensure all families in our community have access to fresh fruits, vegetables, and other healthy food options. Qualifying participants will be able to purchase special tokens with their SNAP-EBT cards they can then use at participating vendors. In addition to SNAP-EBT cards, many vendors accept credit cards. However, some only take cash. ATMs are conveniently located at Ben & Jerry’s and Yorktown Pub.
