Family Day at American Revolution Museum of Yorktown
Bring the whole family and explore artmaking, STEM, storytelling and more through the stories of American Indian, European and African cultures and legacies left to the nation.
Saturday, January 17 – Fresh Views Artmaking – Create your own fresh views of the American Revolution with artmaking activities for all ages. Meet artists whose art is on display in the “Fresh Views of the American Revolution” special exhibition and enjoy an interactive story time. More
Saturday, June 27 – Civically Yours Escape Room – As part of the national Civics Season initiative and America’s 250th anniversary, share your wish for America in 50 years, puzzle your way out of a civics-themed escape room and meet organizations that help people in the community. Outdoors, in our immersive living-history areas, learn how civics impacted people during the American Revolution through fun demonstrations. More
Family Days offer hands-on experiences for visitors of all ages and are open to the whole family. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
All Family Days activities are included with museum admission.
Residents of James City County, York County and the City of Williamsburg, including William & Mary students, receive free admission with proof of residency.
