In the 18th century, hogs were an important source of meat and fat for daily life. Guests can discover how they were butchered, learn the salt-curing process used for preservation, and watch as the Historic Foodways team renders lard. No event ticket is needed, but Colonial Williamsburg admission is required. For more information, see here.
