The Jamestown Settlement has an amazing and huge outdoor living museum space complete with life-size re-creations of a 1610-14 fort and Paspahegh Town, and you can climb aboard a re-creation of one of the three ships that sailed from England to Virginia in 1607. If you haven’t been, make it a destination and if you have been – head back! Did we mention there is an indoor museum as well? Learn about this world class museum here
The Jamestown Settlement is a wonderful way to spend a day and if you are a local resident – your admission is free. (Here is more info on free admission)
