FREE ADMISSION FOR MILITARY* – All veterans, active duty, reserve and retired military personnel and up to three direct family members can enjoy free admission during the day to Jamestown Settlement and the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown. Learn more
Join in a special Veterans Day ceremony at 11 a.m. November 11 at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown to mark the service of military veterans, past and present.
- 10:50 – 11:05 a.m. Patriotic Music – The 29th Infantry Division Band of the Virginia Army National Guard
- 11:05 – 11:10 a.m. Honoring Veterans – Join Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation’s Visitor Experience Manager Robert “Homer” Lanier as he acknowledges the veterans, reservists and active-duty military in attendance and those who fought to defend America’s freedom.
- 11:11 a.m. Moment of Silence – A solemn moment to reflect with gratitude on the heroism of those who died in the country’s service.
- 11:12 a.m. Artillery Firing – Watch as American Revolution Museum at Yorktown Continental Army crew fires an artillery salute.
- 11:15 – 11:30 a.m. Patriotic Music – The 29th Infantry Division Band of the Virginia Army National Guard
- 1:30 p.m. Patriotic Music – The Fifes and Drums of York Town
