Busch Gardens Continues its Howl-O-Scream Chaperone Policy for Guests 15 years and younger
The safety of guests and team members has always been a top priority at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. As part of that commitment, the park will again implement a chaperone policy during Howl-O-Scream, starting Friday, September 5. This policy will continue through Sunday, November 2, 2025 and applies to all ticket holders and Members.
All visitors ages 15 and younger must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old when visiting after 4:00pm on Howl-O-Scream event nights. The chaperone must accompany their party at entry, remain inside the park during their visit and be available by phone throughout their stay. Each chaperone may accompany up to 6 visitors at a time. Guests aged 15 years or younger who are found inside the park unaccompanied by a chaperone who is not in the park and available by phone will be subject to ejection without refund.
