Join John Pagano for a historical glance at the contributions of Virginia’s “free men of color” whose privations and valor helped gain our independence.
These patriots served in both the militias and the Continental Army. The lecture is presented by the York County Historical Committee.

About the Speaker:
John Pagano is the author of The English Pocahontas and has been an advisor and consultant on numerous historical films and documentaries. He has authored more than a dozen articles on American history. Pagano is the Chesterfield County Division on Historical Sites Interpretation Supervisor.
