Paws at the River
Saturday, October 26
9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Say goodbye to the Dog Days of Summer and hello to the Dog Days of Fall! While Yorktown Market Days is pet-friendly all year, Paws at the River is an annual tradition that helps to raise awareness about local animal rescue groups and organizations.
Shoppers are encouraged to bring their pups to enjoy limited free samples from FiDough Gourmet Dog Treats (with products available for purchase), get a professional picture or caricature with their pup, and march in Yorktown’s first-ever Halloween Pet Parade.
You can dress up, too! The parade starts promptly at 10 a.m. with participants asked to gather near the Freight Shed. Prizes will be awarded to the most creative costumes. Robbie Kerns and Clayton Ware will provide acoustical rock and blues for the day.
