Yorktown Freedom Run 8K Memorial Day, May 27

The Yorktown Freedom Run will return for 2024!  The race will again be an 8K run on the Colonial National Historical Park tour roads on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27. Registration and Start/Finish is adjacent to York High School. 

The race commemorates Memorial Day and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to preserve our freedom.  The Freedom Run is operated by the Yorktown Rotary Club, and all proceeds go to the Yorktown Rotary Foundation to provide scholarships at local high schools and give support to a wide range of youth and community services as shown on the Community Service page. 

Bottled water and plenty of refreshments after the race. Medals are given to runners in 26 categories and cash awards are given to the top three male and female runners in the Open and Master’s categories.
