Summer Nights Concert Series at Busch Gardens Williamsburg
Country duo, Maddie & Tae, opened the Summer Nights Concert Series at Busch Gardens Williamsburg on Saturday, June 17, 2023. The moment they walked out on the stage the crowd was captivated by their superb vocals, charm and fun-loving personality. They immediately sang a few songs then spoke to the crowd. They were down to earth, even apologizing for being a few minutes late. Maddie is 7 months pregnant which caused a wardrobe issue which Tae tried to repair, however in the end a new outfit was chosen.
The Royal Palace is the perfect venue for an intimate concert, they even spoke directly to several audience members. One spectator asking Maddie where she got her boots, and if your curious too, they came from Amazon. There isn’t a bad seat in the venue. It’s also quite a sight to witness Griffon (one of the parks 9 roller coasters) drop over 200′ repeatedly throughout the evening. Make time in your summer schedule to catch a concert, you won’t be disappointed!
The Summer Nights Concert Series returns this summer to Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Concerts take place outdoor at the Royal Palace Theatre with popular artists from Country, to R&B and Classic Rock, to Christian and Pop. Flo Rida was raised by a single mother in Miami’s rough neighborhood of Carol City, Florida. Music helped Flo Rida stay on the straight path. His father was a talented musician who encouraged his son to express himself through music. Growing up, Flo Rida was exposed to all kinds of music. When he was a teenager, Flo Rida found local success rapping with a group called the Groundhoggz. At 18, he became the hype man for Fresh Kid Ice from 2 Live Crew. In December 20, 2006 Flo Rida inked a deal with Atlantic Records. In 2009 started his own management company, Strong Arm, with longtime friend and manager, Lee ” Freezy” Prince.
