The Annual Sounds of Summer Concert Series outdoor concert series in Yorktown is free and open to the public. Concerts run every Thursday night from May 21 through August 27. The lineup features an eclectic mix of Beach Music, Motown, Pop, and R&B.

The Tidewater Drive Band energizes every crowd with powerful vocals, bold brass, and high-energy hits, creating unforgettable moments on and off the dance floor. With showmanship and personality as big as their sound, Tidewater Drive is a performance powerhouse on any stage. This band features electrifying vocals, larger-than-life horns, and dazzling choreography for a show-stopping experience.

Summer 2026 amazing lineup!

Before the entertainment begins, visitors are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy dinner or dessert at any of Historic Yorktown’s waterfront restaurants including Water Street Grille, Carrot Tree, Umi Sushi, Ben & Jerry’s, and Yorktown Pub.

Guests are permitted to bring their own blankets, chairs, and small coolers. No tables, umbrellas, or tents are allowed. There will be a dance floor, friendly games of corn hole, and tasty, to-go meals from rotating food trucks available for purchase.

Free parking is available at designated public parking lots throughout town, including York Hall, York-Poquoson Courthouse, and County Administration Building. The complimentary, wheelchair-accessible Yorktown Trolley runs from 5 to 9:30 p.m. during every concert with a modified route that still includes some of the stops on the outskirts of town.
