Virginia Native Trees: A Walking Tour

The wooded area behind the James City County Library contains a wide variety of trees that are native to this area. Join a master naturalist for a guided tour to identify and learn more about these trees.
You will discover the different species, their colonial and modern uses, unique characteristics, and the ecological value of, and threats to, our native forests. Wear comfortable, closed toe walking shoes.
