Family Day at Jamestown Settlement
Bring the whole family and explore artmaking, STEM, storytelling and more through the stories of American Indian, European and African cultures and legacies left to the nation.
Saturday, July 12 – Citizen Science Family Day – Explore the natural world surrounding Jamestown Settlement, practice observing like a citizen scientist, compare today’s environment to that of the early 1600s, and share your discoveries along the way. For more information, see here.
Saturday, September 13 – Portraits of Jamestown Family Day – Explore the world of portraits. Create a family portrait with a green screen, draw a portrait based on one you see, and decide whose portraits are missing from history.
Family Days offer hands-on experiences for visitors of all ages and are open to the whole family. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
All Family Days activities are included with museum admission.
Residents of James City County, York County and the City of Williamsburg, including William & Mary students, receive free admission with proof of residency.
