Grace Church Creation Care Summer Series. Join Amy Nicholson, educator at the Virginia Living Museum, for a paddle on the York River.
Join Amy Nicholson for a paddle on a local waterway. We’ll discuss the water and the many species that inhabit it and what it takes to keep the river healthy. We’ll end the evening with a traditional blessing of the water. Launch location will be the Wormley Creek public launch, 1110 Old Wormley Creek Drive in Yorktown. We will depart promptly at 6 to give us time on the water and to return to land before sunset. Kayaks may be available for loan; please contact Elizabeth at eobrien3boys@gmail.com by Sunday, Aug. 10 to arrange.

This event is free and open to the public. Advance registration is requested.
