Halloween Spooktacular at Busch Gardens
Every Saturday & Sunday September 19 – November 1 from 10 am – 5 pm
Kids can dress up in their favorite costumes and trick-or-treat throughout the Wild Reserve to gather special Halloween treats! There is also a hay maze and a Halloween-themed scavenger hunt. Enjoy Sesame Street-themed shows including Countdown to Halloween, the interactive Monster Mayhem Game Show and the Furry Friends Halloween Dance Party. Jamestown Beach Event Park
Experience a day at the beach with a Halloween twist! Head to the annual Boo Bash at the Beach! It is a family-friendly Halloween event featuring hands-on activities, pumpkin decorating, music, games (pre-school friendly too!), food for purchase and much more! All ages welcome; children must be accompanied by an adult. Trick- or-Treating onsite for ages 12 and younger. Costumes welcome! Riverwalk Landing Yorktown
It’s become a community tradition to help kick off a season of cooler weather, changing leaves, and outdoor fun for the whole family. Get those costumes ready, kids! The fun kicks off on Saturday, October 10 from 9 am – 3 pm and runs through Sunday, October 11 at 3 pm . There are loads of activities including petting zoo, face painting, and hay maze and more.
It’s the most fall-bulous time of the year! Celebrate the season at Yorktown’s annual Fall Festival, where pumpkins, mums, and kettle corn are just the beginning. Shop more than 40 local vendors and artists selling autumn favorites, from caramel apples to cozy décor. Family Frights at Jamestown Settlement, a Halloween-themed museum night for children and families, returns for a not-so-scary good time for all. Don’t be afraid – this weekend is more TREAT than TRICK and filled with family friendly fun for all ages! Become a member! Get early access to a members-only presale beginning September 25.
Paws at the River

Riverwalk Landing
Bring your furry friends for a tail-wagging good time at our Paws at the River Market. Meet adoptable pets, learn about local rescues, and treat your pup to gourmet goodies. The day features a pet portrait station, trick-or-treating for the kids, and a pet costume contest.
Get a Family Pic with the family dog(s): Staff will snap free photos of visitors and their canine companions.
Pet Costume Parade – Stick around for the annual Halloween Pet Costume Parade at 1 p.m.
Trick or Treating – his popular trick-or-treating event will feature several Yorktown businesses and rescue organizations.

Trunk or Treat at Wellsprings United Methodist Church
October 25, 2026 from 2-4 pm
Get ready for some spooktacular family fun! Wellspring UMC is hosting Trunk or Treat 2026! Join us for an afternoon of: Candy Trunks and Tie-Dye. Little ones are invited to dress up and walk around their parking lot to visit decorated trunks in a safe environment. For tie-dye they ask that you bring your own shirts!
