Red Hill Plantation, 1799. In a final attempt to cure a mortal illness, Patrick Henry drinks mercury. This radical cure will either restore his health or end his life. While he waits to discover his fate, Henry reflects upon the pivotal moment of his existence, his famed “Liberty or Death” speech given at the Second Virginia Convention on March 23, 1775. Will the mercury cure the ailing Son of Thunder, or will he pass into the ages like his immortal oration? MORE INFO
