Tour: Nassau Street, Past, Present, and Future
Big changes are on the horizon for Nassau Street—and archaeology is uncovering the story every step of the way.
Guests are invited to join a guided walking tour to explore how discoveries at the African Baptist Meeting House and Burial Ground, Williamsburg Bray School, and Custis Square continue to shape the historic landscape seen today. Along the way, participants will learn how researchers are still piecing together the past and get a sneak peek at what the future holds for this important historic corridor.
Tour groups meet on Nassau Street outside the Taliaferro-Cole Stable. Please note: Portions of the tour include uneven terrain that may be difficult for wheelchairs and other mobility equipment. Tours are weather-dependent. Colonial Williamsburg admission required.
