Presentation on 3rd World Medical Challenges Lecture – January 12, 2014
Dr. Harry Kraus, a former medical missionary to East Africa, discusses the challenges of practicing medicine in the developing world in a free presentation on Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 7 p.m. in the Williamsburg Library, 515 Scotland St.
Kraus, a board-certified surgeon and author of books of both fiction and non-fiction, will discuss medical cases and lessons Africa taught him that can be applied to the challenges faced here at home. This program is presented in partnership with the Williamsburg chapter of the League of Women Voters.
