Riverwalk Landing will turn into an extraordinary indoor/outdoor art gallery from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 28, for Yorktown’s 14th annual Art Stroll. Approximately 50 regional artists will put their artistic talent on display along Water Street, as well as inside and behind the Yorktown Freight Shed. Visitors will find a wide range of art for sale including paintings in oil, acrylic, and watercolor; handcrafted pottery; fine jewelry; photography; mosaics; sculpture; mixed media pieces; and even painted furniture.

This event is free and open to the public and will be held rain or shine.

This isn’t just a show—it’s an experience. Visitors will have the chance to chat with artists about their creative process and take part in a much-loved tradition: contributing to a collaborative community canvas, where everyone can leave their mark.

Enjoy a special musical performance on the Riverwalk Landing stage from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. by Audio Portrait, an acoustic harmony trio that covers songs from the ‘60s through today. In addition, kids can get hands-on with free make-and-take crafts while supplies last.

Extend your curiosity beyond the waterfront by heading to Historic Main Street, where the Gallery at York Hall will feature additional artistic treasures from local creators, including quilts, stained glass, pottery, and paintings.

When hunger strikes, Yorktown’s restaurants are ready to welcome you with flavors to match the day’s creativity. Options include Water Street Grille, Coastal Thirst Beach Deli, Riverwalk Restaurant, Umi Sushi, Yorktown Pub, Mobjack Coffee Roasters and Petite Café, Carrot Tree Kitchens, Little York Confectionery, and Ben & Jerry’s.

As always, admission is free and the event will be held rain or shine. Parking is available at multiple locations throughout town, including the Riverwalk Landing Parking Terrace, York Hall, the Courthouse Complex, and the County Administration Building. For added convenience, the free Yorktown Trolley will shuttle guests from designated parking areas from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
