Bring the entire family out for the biggest Busch Gardens trick-or-treat trail ever offered at The Count’s Spooktacular during Howl-O-Scream! This is the not-so-spooky fun event that happens during the daytime on Saturdays and Sundays from September 23 to October 29 in Busch Gardens® Sesame Street® Forest of Fun!
The Counts Spooktacular Halloween is family-friendly and includes the Countdown to Halloween Show, dance parties, a festive hay maze, and a costume parade alongside their favorite Sesame Street® friends. New themes every weekend, unique activities, and special photo opportunities offer a different experience with every visit. The Count’s Spooktacular is included in your admission!
Here are the Count Spooktacular Themed Weekends for 2023 at Busch Gardens Williamsburg
Countdown to Halloween Weekend, Sept. 23 – 24: Join Count von Count as he kicks off the first weekend of Halloween Spooktacular at Busch Gardens! Activities include the ALL-NEW Trick-or-Treat Trail, special Halloween arts and crafts, and a costume dance party with some of your favorite Sesame Street® friends and more!
Funny Bones Weekend, Sept. 30 – Oct. 1: Elmo and Zoe are ready for the Halloween season dressed in their favorite skeleton costumes. Kids will enjoy Halloween crafts, dance parties with Elmo and Zoe, special photo opportunities, and searching high & low for hidden skeletons in the hay maze.
Clowning Around Weekend, Oct. 7-8: Come clown around with Cookie Monster and Grover in your favorite Halloween costume. Shimmy and shake at the dance parties, enjoy arts and crafts, and search for hidden friendly monsters in the hay maze. Plus, catch the family ever-favorite Countdown to Halloween show!
Pirate Party Weekend, Oct. 14-15: Ahoy, mateys! Arrrgh you ready for a pirate party with your Sesame Street friends? Join Bert and Ernie in your best costume as you dance, explore the hay maze, and enjoy arts and crafts. Be on the lookout for candy treasures at ten trick-or-treating stations in the ALL-NEW Trick-or-Treat Trail!
Super Grover Weekend, Oct. 21-22: Join in the magic of Halloween with wizard Elmo and knight Cookie Monster for a weekend filled with costumed dance parties, arts and crafts, special photo opportunities, and fun in the hay maze. Don’t forget to participate in the park-wide trick-or-treating!
Halloween Weekend, Oct. 28-29: Celebrate Halloween Weekend with your Sesame Street friends and have a not-too-spooky good time! Spend the last weekend of Halloween Spooktacular trick-or-treating your way through the ALL-NEW Trick-or-Treat Trail. Get groovy at the dance party and showcase your costume at the parade. The fun continues with special photo opportunities, art and crafts and making your way through the hay maze.

Howl-O-Scream Returns with extreme screams
Once the day turns to night, Busch Gardens® Howl-O-Scream® returns in full force, taking over the entire park with five haunted houses, five terror-toriesTM, four sinister shows, six BOOze Bars & Bites and unsuspecting horrors awaiting their victims at every turn.
