Bug-tacular, a brand-new event at the Virginia Living Museum! This family-friendly experience is designed to help guests discover the fascinating world of “creepy crawlies” in a safe, welcoming way.
From insects and arachnids to aquatics, amphibians, and reptiles, you’ll see these amazing animals up close and learn why they’re so important to our natural world.
Get eye-to-eye with live creatures like millipedes, isopods, tarantulas, mantids, and more—plus explore fascinating specimens from the museum’s collections. Bug-tacular proves that what seems spooky at first is actually spectacular once you take a closer look!
- Friday & Saturday Evenings: During Night of the Living Museum (access included with NOLM tickets)
- Saturday & Sunday Daytime: 11 a.m.–3 p.m. (access included with daily admission)
