It’s time to celebrate the farmers. National Farmers Market Week is marked with a special day honoring local growers, makers, and dreamers. Visitors can shop for vine-ripened tomatoes, golden squash, and baskets of peppers bursting with flavor, then meet the people who grow the food and create the market favorites they love. In Yorktown, the journey from farm to table is just two handshakes away.
In case of inclement weather, the market will move to the lower level of the Water Street Parking Terrace.The free, ADA-accessible Yorktown Trolley will be in operation beginning at 10 a.m. during this event. For more information, see here.
