Angels Class (2 year olds)
2 Days: Tuesday and Thursday
3 Days: Monday, Wednesday and Friday5 Days: Monday through Friday
Our “Little Angels” class for 2 year olds offers a flexible balance of free play and directed activity. This Christian environment is specially designed to develop fine and gross motor skills by using creative learning centers that stimulate critical-thinking skills. Music, movement and art are used throughout the day to help children explore their environment in a safe and nurturing classroom. Children are encouraged to socialize and play with each other and their teachers. Thematic units are explored through dramatic play, music, movement, blocks, puzzles, books, various art mediums, water and sand tables.
Turtles Class (3 year olds)
3 Days: Monday, Wednesday and Friday or Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
5 Days: Monday through Friday
The three-year-old Christian center program is based on learning through play. The curriculum offers hands-on learning experiences the promote the cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual development of each student. We promote independence by working on self-help tasks throughout the day. The children are given many opportunities to engage in fine and gross motor activities. Color, number, and shape recognition are reinforced through thematic learning activities that are age appropriate and child directed. Children rotate through the following centers: writing, reading, art, dramatic play, housekeeping, block building, manipulative, and sensory tables.

Our Pre-Kindergarten Four-Year-Old preschool program focuses on multi-sensory activities which promote growth in a child’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development. Virginia’s Foundation Blocks for Early Learning: Comprehensive Standards for Four-Year-Olds serves as minimum guidelines in developing our program. Academics include literacy and mathematic skills, science and social studies concepts, and critical thinking skills. Our children participate in our math, science and engineering center weekly as well as our music and movement class and chapel program monthly. Weekly Bible stories, songs, and verses are integrated into our lessons as we seek to share the love of Christ with our children.
The Kats Class-Kinder Kats (8:15-12:30), 1st Grade (8:15-2:30)

The Kats class is a is combined Kindergarten/1st grade class for children 5-8 years old. Children are grouped by developmental level, not grade level. Our Kats program includes differentiated learning by implementing a challenging, hands on curriculum that follows the objectives for the Virginia Standards of Learning. Critical thinking skills are encouraged through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) as well as in literacy. First graders stay until 2:30 for their specials: Science, Social Studies, Art, Music and PE. The Kats class is always interactive, fluid and fun.
Lunch Bunch
Additional enrichment activities are offered through our extended day program called “ Lunch Bunch.” Lunch Bunch is offered 12 pm to 2 pm daily. Children bring a lunch and participate in crafts, sign language, cooking and dramatic play while developing social skills (offered to all children age 3 and older)
