Latisha’s House turns 10 years old this year! Now is a great time to celebrate and partner with us! Enjoy a fantastic “date night”. Sponsorships are tax deductible. Delight in the AAA Five Diamond dining experience and an open bar at the Williamsburg Inn Regency Room in Colonial Williamsburg. Tap your shoes to the swinging rhythms and songs of Good Shot Judy in a 1 hour concert. It’s a celebration of building a bridge from a traumatic past to a positive future for future generations.
Note: Our clients are survivors of human trafficking here on the Peninsula, many of whom were trafficked as children. You may not know but Virginia is ranked 6th in human trafficking cases, and Hampton Roads is ranked 2nd to Northern Virginia with human trafficking calls.
Less than 1% are ever helped out of sex trafficking, and many of the ones that are served in our area come to Latisha’s House. We help give them a fresh start — with a long-term, trauma-informed safe house program with wrap-around services including health, education, vocational training, and even life skills and life coaching such as financial literacy. Survivors learn how to budget and work on their credit score. They get jobs. Once they graduate from Latisha’s House, we hope to connect them to realtors like you to help them rent an apartment/condo or purchase their first and forever home.
