Richmond Debate Institute annual 1-week program at VCU introduces students to competitive speech and debate. Students will have the opportunity to develop their cases and compete in final debate tournament at the end of the camp week.
Middle School Students: Camp introduces students ages 10-13 to competitive speech and debate. Campers will participate in scheduled lessons, mock debates, games, and compete in a final tournament at the end of the week.
High School Students: Camp is ideal for students who are interested in excelling in speech and debate. Our instructors inspire students to craft well structured arguments. High school students will participate in scheduled lessons, mock debates, and compete in a final tournament at the end of the week.
Day Camp (Middle & High School Students) is July 31 – August 4, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Residential Camp (High School Students) July 30 – August 6
