Hurrah! The Continental Army has returned to Yorktown to save the day, and they are putting on quite a show! Royal Artillery Demonstration – Feel the boom of History!
Those pesky British are at it again. The Royal Artillery has invaded the Yorktown Battlefield, and they are showing off their might.
Park volunteers conduct a series of cannon demonstrations with the Lamb’s Artillery behind the Colonial National Historical Park Visitor Center. Participants will be able to meet re-enactors, learn about the weapons used during the American Revolution, and watch live cannon firings.
Demonstrations take place at 12:45 p.m., 1:45 p.m., and 2:45 p.m. Programs may be subject to cancellation due to weather or other circumstances.
