both the James City County & Williamsburg Library Locations are closed

New Catalog and App Coming October 13. We’re excited to share that we’re launching a brand-new online catalog and app in October. You’ll enjoy:

• ✅ A clean, mobile-friendly design   
• ✅ Faster access to what you love

To complete this transition, the library will be closed from October 10-12. The new catalog officially launches October 13. The new app, Aspen LiDA, can be downloaded on October 13 by searching for “Williamsburg Regional Library” in your app store.  

Please note:

• Library services will be unavailable during the closure, including access to the Libby app, Kanopy, and online resources such as newspapers and magazines.  
• Requests for purchase of new materials are on pause until October 13.  
• If you created any lists in our previous catalog, they will not transfer to the new catalog.  You can save or print your book lists from your current catalog account any time before October 9, after which it will no longer be available.
