Memorial Day Prayer Service and Ceremony

Join Historic Grace Episcopal Church for a memorial service honoring those who died while serving in the armed forces. The Church is located at 115 Church Street Yorktown.
A prayer service will be held in Historic (ca 1697) Grace Episcopal Church. Following the service, a brief ceremony will be held in the Cemetery with playing of “Taps.”
This special service will begin at 10 a.m. and include readings and music. After it concludes, those in attendance will be invited to the churchyard for the playing of “Taps” and recitation of the names of each of the 114 known veterans buried in the Grace Episcopal Church Cemetery, and all deceased men and women who have served our country in uniform.
