Not-So Groundhog Day
February 2 @ 9:30 am – 2:30 pm
Join the Virginia Living Museum for Not-So Groundhog Day, a playful twist on a winter tradition. Instead of one sleepy groundhog, VLM native animals will help make predictions about when spring will arrive—and maybe even share a little extra “forecast” for the year ahead.
Guests are encouraged to come dressed in their best spring, winter, or Groundhog Day–inspired attire. Think cozy layers, florals, or full groundhog flair.
This year’s celebration will be led by WAVY TV 10 Meteorologist Kristy Steward at 11:00 AM, with Newport News Mayor Phillip Jones joining us for the festivities.
