Nessie turns 40! Loch Ness Roller Coaster at Busch Gardens Celebrates 40 Years with .40 Cent Beers!

A lady shouldn’t celebrate turning 40 alone so Nessie is making sure everyone will come to her party by offering $40 Thrill Tickets, .40 Cent Beer at Fest Haus and .40 cent popcorn and a Melon Sprite drink (that is super sweet and yummy) at the Loch Ness Monster concessions. Here is the break down on the celebration of the Loch Ness Monster Roller Coaster (Nessie) turning 40. Busch Gardens is running a flash ticket sale till June 10th for $40 Thrill Ticket (single day admission tickets) that can be used until July 1, 2018 AND when you hop over to the Fest Haus you get to enjoy .40 Cent BEER through August 12! The beers are 7 oz cups and it is limited to 2 per person (you can only buy one at a time and there is a special .40 cent beer line so that this doesn’t disrupt regular food purchases). They also have .40 cent popcorn at the Loch Ness Monster concessions and a Melon Sprite drink that is super sweet and yummy!

On Wednesday, June 6, 2018, Busch Gardens President, Kevin Lembke opened Nessie’s 40th birthday festivities with a speech followed by lots of confetti! Nessie was looking her best and the ACE Riders (American Coaster Enthusiasts Riders) were there to ride first – their group was formed 40 years ago at Loch Ness Monster Roller Coaster. Nessie is currently the world’s only innerlocking double looping roller coaster…code for: SERIOUS FUN! Nessie has new cars this year and her mountain cave has had a face-lift (she is not ashamed of having a little work done here and there).
