Scares That Care presents Author Con VI! Get ready for a three day weekend to raise money for a great cause! There will be authors, vendors, an international film festival, and much more!

Visit scaresthatcare.org to get your three day ticket for only $40! Or purchase a one day ticket. The convention is family friendly. Some events require a separate ticket (see optional events below).

Celebrity guests of honor include Nat Cassidy, John Durgin, RJ Joseph, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Lisa Kröger & Melanie R. Anderson, John Lynch, CJ Leede, Clay McLeod Chapman, Jennifer McMahon, Nick Roberts and L. Marie Wood.

Optional Events (require a separate ticket along with AuthorCon ticket):

• Psychic & Medium with Dakota Lawrence – Renowned psychic and medium Dakota Lawrence will conduct random live readings regarding loved ones, participants’ lives and more. Limited number of ticket available on Friday & Saturday night.
• Saturday Seminar – How to Create an Amazing Author Website – Learn about unique advantages a website has over other online spaces like social media and what makes a great author website. There will also be a Q and A session to answer questions. If you don’t have a website or you have one that’s in serious need of updating, then this seminar is for you. 
• Saturday Seminar – Ask an Agent with Becky LeJeune –  Learn how to pitch your manuscripts to an agent, how to write the perfect query letter, and much more.

What is Scares that Care? Scares That Care mission each year, is to raise $30,000 to present $10,000 each to THREE families.

• A family with a sick child
• a member battling breast cancer
• someone who has suffered burns

Scares that Care is an all volunteer organization and all net proceeds go directly to the families they support who are experiencing hardships as a result of their medical conditions.
