Settler’s Mill off Jamestown road, first street on the right – Mill View circle – all the way down in the cul-de-sac! This year they are at 160000 lights, 108 various mini figures, 66 candy canes, and 57 various trees!! There are several other homes in this neighborhood who really light it up and they are on Mill Stream Way! FYI – 116 Mill View Circle will not have lights on if it is rainy really hard. Mr Schwerkolt wrote us this year to let us know he has 10,000 lights on the house and a 20 ft. Christmas tree made of lights plus his house and lawn are lit and music plays outside! Village Square – behind Harris Teeter on 3100 Ironbound Rd in Williamsburg 23185. This is amazing!!!! I think they increase the number of lighted balls that hang in the trees each year. Beautiful balls of different colored lights hang high in the trees. This year more houses are decorated too. Just watch out for parked cars and people walking as you are looking up at the lights high in the trees! My child took this video as we drove through – but really it does not do it justice! this is not Christmas Town this is a new limited capacity event at Busch Gardens and it is beautiful. Your entire family will love this one (and they are running a Black Friday Sale on tickets!) We have a review on the event here.
Merchant’s Square & Colonial Williamsburg
Located on Duke of Gloucester St (DoG St.) in the heart of Williamsburg the street is lit up with lights and the glow of fire pits and cressets. Shops are open and the Liberty Pavilion Ice Rink is glowing too. And while you are there walk to Colonial Williamsburg Inn!
Keep an eye out for strolling Santa. Grab a bite to eat with many outdoor tables with heating. It is magical down there!
Winter Nature Nights – Virginia Living Museum
