2026 Juneteenth Art Exhibit Opening Reception

There will be an an opening reception on June 18 from 6-8 p.m. in the gallery that the community is invited to attend.

Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.  
Saturday, June 20, July 11 and 25, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
WRL Gallery at Stryker Center 
Free & Open to the Public

Celebrate Juneteenth with a vibrant exhibit featuring African American artists from across the Virginia Peninsula. Showcasing painters, photographers, and quilters, this collection honors heritage, creativity, and the enduring spirit of freedom. 

Curated by Willis Potter, artist and former exhibition designer at the Chrysler Museum of Art, this exhibit is a collaborative initiative of Williamsburg Regional Library and The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, in partnership with the Juneteenth Community Consortium.  More Info
