Cultural Heritage Series in Honor of Black History Month at Williamsburg Regional Library
These two-hour long programs celebrate Black heritage in the creative arts. Meet the performers and enjoy refreshments following the presentation. Programs are free and do not require reservations. Held in the Williamsburg Library Theatre, 515 Scotland St.
All4Christ featuring Saxophonist Coretha Holland

Celebrate Black History Month with the 2026 Cultural Heritage Series featuring All4Christ. Led by local gospel artist Lisa Reid-Williamson and featuring saxophonist Coretha Holland, All4Christ will present powerful vocals and exceptional musicianship. Their performances uplift spiritual and musical traditions that celebrate the enduring legacy of Black gospel music.

Celebrate Black History Month with the 2026 Cultural Heritage Series honoring two beloved Tidewater musicians, Mrs. Iris Jimmerson and Mrs. Mildred Walker. Together, they’ve shared their talents in song and on the piano with the community for more than 50 years.
Guests who would like to present the ladies with flowers or a special card are invited to do so at the conclusion of the program, when time will be set aside to come on stage.
The program is sponsored by Iota Phi Theta Fraternity (Richmond) and Corey’s Southern Catering (Williamsburg). This event is free and open to the public—everyone is welcome. For more information, see here.
The Historic First Baptist Church Concert Choir

Celebrate Black History Month with the 2026 Cultural Heritage Series featuring the First Baptist Church Concert Choir, led by Maestro Reginald Fox. Made up of church members, the choir brings together four voice parts in joyful praise through music.
The Concert Choir has shared its talents at numerous church and community events, including collaborations with the Williamsburg Choral Guild, Bruton Parish Church, the Williamsburg Symphony Orchestra, and the York River Symphony Orchestra. Their repertoire spans hymns, spirituals, anthems, gospel, contemporary works, and classical compositions.
This special concert is presented in collaboration with the York River Symphony Orchestra. The event is free and open to the public—everyone is welcome. For more information, see here.
