☔ If the weather turns, the market moves to the lower level of the Water Street Parking Terrace.
🚌 The free, ADA-accessible Yorktown Trolley runs 11 a.m.–5 p.m. during Victory Weekend.

Created to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence, this powerful exhibition explores Virginia’s pivotal role in the American Revolution through remarkable artifacts and inspiring stories of both iconic and everyday people.
Included with museum admission, this new exhibition invites visitors to connect with the people, places, and ideas that forged a new nation—and continue to shape America today. 🇺🇸

Harvest Festival

Chippokes State Park 695 Chippokes Park Rd, Surry

Celebrate fall at one of Virginia’s most historic working farms!
Guests are invited to enjoy a full day of family-friendly seasonal activities, including antique tractor pulls, pumpkin painting, corn cob doll making, cornhole, and hayrides through the grounds. The festival will also feature a variety of craft and food vendors, along with demonstrations of antique harvest equipment.
Visitors can step back in time with costumed interpreters cooking over the hearth in the 1850s Brick Kitchen and explore guided tours of the historic Jones-Stewart Mansion and the Farm and Forestry Museum. The event will be held rain or shine.
It’s a festive autumn tradition filled with history, hands-on activities, and seasonal charm for all ages. 🍂
